Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 45 garlic cloves, thinly sliced or minced

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped

  • Optional: ½ lemon, juiced

  • Reserved pasta water (2–3 tbsp)


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.

  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add garlic and cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant and golden.

  3. Add pasta to skillet, tossing to coat. Stir in pasta water and cheese until silky.

  4. Season with salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and parsley. Add lemon juice if using.

  5. Serve hot with extra Parmesan on top.
