Description

A sweet and savory honey BBQ chicken glaze served over fluffy rice for a quick, comforting dinner full of flavor and crunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into pieces

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder (to season)

  • ½ cup BBQ sauce

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • Cooked white or brown rice, for serving

  • Optional: green onions, sesame seeds, hot sauce for garnish


Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

  • Sear chicken in oil until browned and cooked through.

  • Mix BBQ sauce, honey, soy sauce, and onion powder in a bowl.

  • Add sauce to chicken, simmer 3–4 minutes until sticky.

  • Serve over warm rice. Garnish and enjoy!
