Description

This homemade sausage, egg & cheese McMuffin is crispy, melty, and easy to make. With a toasted English muffin, savory sausage, and a perfectly cooked egg, it’s the ultimate cozy breakfast.


Ingredients

  • 2 English muffins, split and toasted

  • 2 sausage patties (or ½ lb ground breakfast sausage)

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 slices American cheese

  • Butter for toasting (optional)

  • Salt & pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Toast English muffins and set aside.

  2. Shape sausage into thin patties. Cook in skillet 3–4 mins per side.

  3. Cook eggs in greased ring molds or ramekins until set.

  4. Assemble: muffin bottom, sausage, cheese, egg, muffin top.

  5. Wrap in foil and let sit 2–3 mins for cheese to melt. Serve warm.
