Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or shells)

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream or ¾ cup half-and-half + 2 tbsp cream cheese

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 cup beef broth

  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Optional: red pepper flakes, chopped parsley, extra Parmesan


Instructions

  • Cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  • Brown beef in olive oil over medium heat, 5–7 minutes.

  • Add onion and garlic, cook 3–4 minutes until soft.

  • Stir in beef broth, spices, and simmer 2 minutes.

  • Add cream and Parmesan, stir until smooth and slightly thickened.

  • Toss in cooked pasta and stir to coat.

  • Simmer 2–3 minutes, adjust seasoning, and serve hot.
