Ingredients

12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or shells)

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream or ¾ cup half-and-half + 2 tbsp cream cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup beef broth

½ tsp Italian seasoning

½ tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp olive oil

Optional: red pepper flakes, chopped parsley, extra Parmesan
Instructions

Cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown beef in olive oil over medium heat, 5–7 minutes.

Add onion and garlic, cook 3–4 minutes until soft.

Stir in beef broth, spices, and simmer 2 minutes.

Add cream and Parmesan, stir until smooth and slightly thickened.

Toss in cooked pasta and stir to coat.
