Description
This grilled cheese with basil pesto is golden and crispy on the outside, melty and herby inside — a quick sandwich packed with flavor.
Ingredients

2 slices hearty bread (sourdough, ciabatta, etc.)

2–3 slices mozzarella, provolone, or cheddar

2 tablespoons basil pesto

1 tablespoon butter or mayo (for grilling)
Instructions

Spread pesto on the inside of both bread slices.

Layer cheese on one slice and close the sandwich.

Spread butter or mayo on the outside of each slice.

Grill on medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and melted.

Slice and serve warm.
