Ingredients

1 sheet puff pastry or 1 tube crescent dough

½ lb breakfast sausage

4 eggs

2 tbsp milk or cream

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or blend)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 egg + 1 tbsp milk (for egg wash)

Optional: sesame seeds, diced peppers, onions, or herbs
Instructions

Cook sausage until browned. Drain and cool.

Scramble eggs with milk, salt, and pepper. Let cool slightly.

Roll out dough and cut into rectangles.

Add sausage, eggs, and cheese to each piece. Fold or roll, seal edges.

Brush with egg wash. Add toppings if desired.

Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18–22 minutes until golden and puffed.

Cool 5 minutes and serve warm.
