Description

These easy sweet and spicy chicken wings are oven-baked or air-fried until crispy, then tossed in a sticky honey-chili glaze. Perfect for parties, dinners, or game night snacking.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (drumettes and flats)

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tbsp baking powder (optional, for crispiness)

Sweet & Spicy Sauce:

  • ¼ cup honey or brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp sriracha or chili sauce

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari)

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or lime juice

  • Optional: 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (to thicken)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F or air fryer to 390°F. Pat wings dry.

  • Toss with oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and baking powder.

  • Bake for 40–45 mins (flip halfway) or air fry 20–24 mins until golden and crisp.

  • In a saucepan, combine sauce ingredients. Simmer 2–3 mins until thickened.

  • Toss hot wings in sauce until coated.

  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve immediately.

Notes

Customize the spice level to your liking. Serve with ranch or veggies for a full snack platter.
