Description

This creamy tomato garlic pasta is a quick, cozy dish made with rich tomato sauce, fresh garlic, and a splash of cream — ready in under 30 minutes for an easy comfort dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta of choice

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • 46 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp tomato paste

  • 1 (14–15 oz) can crushed tomatoes

  • ½ cup heavy cream or half-and-half

  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • ¼ cup grated parmesan (optional)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish


Instructions

  • Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.

  • In a skillet, heat oil and sauté garlic until golden.

  • Stir in tomato paste and cook 1 min. Add crushed tomatoes, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Simmer 5–7 mins.

  • Reduce heat and add cream. Simmer gently 2–3 mins.

  • Toss in cooked pasta. Add parmesan and reserved water as needed.

  • Serve warm, topped with herbs and extra cheese.

Notes

  • For leftovers, store sauce and pasta separately if possible.

  • Add grilled chicken, shrimp, or spinach for variation.
