Description

Creamy tomato garlic pasta is rich, silky, and full of comforting flavor. A quick and easy pasta dinner made in under 30 minutes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (penne, fusilli, etc.)

  • 1 ½ cups crushed tomatoes

  • 1 tbsp tomato paste

  • 45 garlic cloves, sliced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • ½ cup heavy cream or plant-based cream

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish

  • Grated Parmesan (optional)


Instructions

  • Cook pasta in salted water. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.

  • In a skillet, sauté garlic in olive oil until golden.

  • Add tomatoes and tomato paste. Simmer 5–7 minutes.

  • Stir in cream. Simmer 2–3 more minutes.

  • Toss pasta with sauce. Add pasta water as needed.

  • Serve hot with herbs and Parmesan.

Notes

  • Add chicken, shrimp, or veggies for variation.

  • Use gluten-free pasta or dairy-free cream as needed.

  • Best served fresh but can be stored up to 3 days.
