Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 68 cloves garlic, minced or sliced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ¾ cup grated parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Optional: red pepper flakes, parsley, nutmeg

  • Reserved pasta water (as needed)


Instructions

  • Cook spaghetti until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water and drain.

  • In a skillet, heat butter and olive oil. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.

  • Stir in cream, salt, pepper, and optional spices. Simmer 3–4 minutes.

  • Add parmesan and stir until smooth. Toss in pasta and coat well.

  • Use pasta water as needed to adjust consistency.

  • Serve hot with extra parmesan and fresh herbs.
