Ingredients

12 oz spaghetti

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

6–8 cloves garlic, minced or sliced

1 cup heavy cream

¾ cup grated parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional: red pepper flakes, parsley, nutmeg

Reserved pasta water (as needed)
Instructions

Cook spaghetti until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water and drain.

In a skillet, heat butter and olive oil. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Stir in cream, salt, pepper, and optional spices. Simmer 3–4 minutes.

Add parmesan and stir until smooth. Toss in pasta and coat well.

Use pasta water as needed to adjust consistency.

Serve hot with extra parmesan and fresh herbs.
