Description

Creamy garlic shrimp pasta features juicy shrimp tossed in a velvety garlic Parmesan sauce with tender spaghetti. A rich, savory, and easy dinner that feels indulgent and restaurant-worthy.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: ¼ tsp chili flakes, ½ tsp paprika

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • Lemon wedges (for serving)


Instructions

  • Cook spaghetti in salted water. Reserve 1 cup pasta water. Drain and set aside.

  • Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika. Sear in olive oil for 1–2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  • In the same pan, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes.

  • Add cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan, salt, pepper, and chili flakes.

  • Toss in cooked pasta. Add reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.

  • Return shrimp to pan and heat through. Garnish with parsley and lemon.

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture
