Ingredients

12 oz spaghetti

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Optional: ¼ tsp chili flakes, ½ tsp paprika

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

Cook spaghetti in salted water. Reserve 1 cup pasta water. Drain and set aside.

Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika. Sear in olive oil for 1–2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes.

Add cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan, salt, pepper, and chili flakes.

Toss in cooked pasta. Add reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.

Return shrimp to pan and heat through. Garnish with parsley and lemon.
