Description

This creamy chicken broccoli pasta is a comforting, easy dinner made with tender chicken, vibrant broccoli, and a rich cheese sauce. It’s ready in under 30 minutes and perfect for family meals.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless chicken breasts or thighs, cubed

  • 12 oz short pasta (penne, farfalle, etc.)

  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 23 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp flour

  • 2 cups milk

  • ½ cup half-and-half (or more milk)

  • ½¾ cup grated Parmesan

  • 2 tbsp cream cheese (optional)

  • Salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder (to taste)

  • Olive oil for cooking


Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Add broccoli in the last 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  • Sauté seasoned chicken in oil until cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  • In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic. Stir in flour to form roux.

  • Gradually whisk in milk and cream. Simmer until thickened.

  • Add Parmesan and cream cheese. Stir until melted.

  • Return chicken, pasta, and broccoli to the pan. Toss to coat and serve hot.

Notes

  • Add chili flakes for spice.

  • Use gluten-free pasta and flour for GF version.
