Ingredients

1½ cups elbow macaroni

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

1 cup milk

1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup mozzarella or American cheese

Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste

½ cup flour (for dredging)

2 eggs, beaten

1½ cups breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)

Oil for frying

Optional: ¼ cup grated Parmesan (for breading)
Instructions

Cook pasta and make cheese sauce with butter, flour, milk, and cheeses. Mix together and chill until firm.

Shape into balls or nuggets. Freeze 30 minutes.

Bread each bite: flour → egg → breadcrumbs. Double coat if desired.

Deep fry at 350°F for 2–3 minutes, or air fry at 375°F for 8–10 minutes.
