Ingredients

2–3 boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs

Salt, pepper, and ¼ cup all-purpose flour

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

3 garlic cloves, minced

½ tbsp flour (optional, for thickening)

½ cup chicken broth

2 tbsp white wine (optional)

½ cup heavy cream

3 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Zest of 1 lemon

Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Pound and season chicken. Lightly dredge in flour.

Sear in butter and oil until golden and cooked through. Remove.

Sauté garlic in the same pan, then deglaze with broth and wine.

Add cream, lemon juice, zest, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.

Return chicken to pan and heat through in the sauce.
