Description
Golden toast topped with melted cheese and a perfectly cooked egg, made easily in the air fryer. A fast, satisfying breakfast for any day of the week.
Ingredients

2 slices thick sandwich bread

2 large eggs

½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or blend)

1 tbsp butter or mayo (optional)

Salt & pepper, to taste

Optional: chili flakes, paprika, herbs for garnish
Instructions

Press down the center of each bread slice to form a well.

Spread butter or mayo on the edges (optional).

Sprinkle cheese into the well, forming a nest.

Crack one egg into each slice’s center. Season with salt and pepper.

Preheat air fryer to 350°F. Place toast in basket.

Air fry 6–8 minutes, depending on desired yolk doneness.

Serve hot with herbs or hot sauce, if desired.

Use smaller eggs to prevent overflow.

Add pre-cooked bacon, ham, or veggies for variety.

Best enjoyed immediately; not ideal for freezing.
